Spring Is HERE!

Ok, so I have a few decisions to make, and a few I've already made. I had hoped to do competetive showing this spring, but I have realized that it may be for the better to wait until next year. A few reasons made me come to this conclusion-one, lack of funds, two, it would be putting a lot of stress on both Chase and I to be competing and studying our levels at the same time, three-it would probably be better just to let Chase be a colt for a while longer. So I've decided that this year we'll just be focusing on what really matters-the relationship. We'll probably do a couple of fun shows just to get him in a new enviroment and give him a bit of experience. Okay-second thing that's been on my mind. I'm not sure whether or not to move Chase to a bigger ranch or not. Last time I checked, he was happy where he was. However, being so far away also brings up the issue of not being able to see him every day. And we miss each other-that much is clear. There's also the issue of space-I'm not sure if it's best for him to grow up in such a cramped enviroment. On the other hand, in the place he's at, he gets the best care I could hope for-I could add additional vitamins to his feed whenever, or cut his feed back or add to it, depending on his weight. I only have one shot at getting the proper vitamins into him during his growth period. *sigh* .......its such a hard decision to make here.

......

Anyways, tomorrow I have an enourmous 2-possibly 4 mile walk ahead of me. I have to walk to tractor supply to get Chase's wormer and such because dad needs to get the truck an oil change. Alrighty-things I need for summer..Been considering watered down baby shampoo for his shampoo. Already have coat shiner. And a shedding blade. He needs a wormer-that much is absolute. Possibly fly spray and/or a fly mask. ummm......I'll figure it out when I get there. I also need a plan for tomorrow...something new to befiddle his mind. Trailer is a possibility. He hasn't played with it at all during the winter-so it could be fresh to him. Mmmk...checking the on line checklist for level 2....Friendly game needs a flapping rain coat, an umbrella, and a ball. Oh! I should get him a ball. All his old ones popped from the cold.....sounds like a plan to me. We've got poles, a trailer, cones, a tarp, an umbrella, a raincoat that I could grab from my dresser. Got it way back when I was going to either chicago (ew) or montana. I'm pretty sure pat and len bought it for me....hmmm. ok, so the raincoat's out-can't find the darn thing. umm....guess that's out. That's it for Jessyka's nightly musings! :D
