Lesson With Fran!

I know I haven't updated in a while-my keyboard hasn't been working. A lot of things have been going on-including facing the very real possibility that I might not be going back to heartland long term. I won't get into it-but it's partly my own decision as well as circumstances that have pushed me farther into that decision. Another bad news flash-Parelli has stopped their working student program, which means it just got a lot harder for me to get my instructor's license. I definitely haven't given up, but I'm debating going to college to kill time while I save up for the courses I need.
Meanwhile, I have a new project horse-not mine, but the owner wants me to play with her ;). Her name's ginger, and she's a lovely chestnut with a white star on her forehead (yes, just like Ginger in Black Beauty). More on that when I get a chance to blog again-today's going to be our first day together. I'm hoping to get some clips of our first play session.
Another fun thing-Fran came out and taught a lesson with me and Chase together-and the truth is, while we're doing level 3/4 tasks, our relationship is still at a level 2/3 level. *blush*. And guess what? My little left brained introvert wants to PLAY. He's sick of going slow! I've been going too slow for him! Wow! What a way to blow my mind! So-basically, now I need to retune my left brained extrovert side for him again! Also, the theme for the next week is 'trust that they'll respond but be ready to correct, not one more than the other'. So I'm moving into a new level of conscious incompetence. To be honest, my pride's wilted from it, but mostly, I'm just invigorated and fascinated! Wow! We're FINALLY getting to the meat-the relationship! YES. My mind is definitely BLOWN.
