Agh! Just got back from tractor supply and saw the size halter Chase used to fit in-it's SO TINY!!!!!! But the size head collar that should fit him now looks HUGE. It's only been three months! He's growing up way too fast! In another five he'll almost be done growing!!! I'm not ready...can't he stay cute and little forever? Lol! Anyways, I introduced a couple of newish things, and reintroduced other toys in a way that hadn't been presented to him before. The new things included a bag with a bit of grain in it, and a hoola hoop. I tied a plastic bag to the end of my apple stick, and was amazed when he stood still, and even relaxed as I rubbed it on him. MUCH different reaction than the first meeting-he took off to the opposite end of the arena near the other horses, and bolted whenever I moved it. I love the little critter so much. A part of me feels like the time has flew by, but for the most part I feel almost like we've always been partners. Weird after only three months, huh? Anyways, I was happy when his attitude turned from 'oh god, another arena play day' to 'that was cool!' and 'wait...we're done? Can't we play more?'
I kept the session fun packed, and as soon as we ran out of grain we stopped. He followed me along the fence for a bit after. :) In other news, both my cameras have officially died.....:( So-I need to get a new one sooner or later. Depends on how much money comes in. ahh well. I'll post again soon-ttyl!
