Fears and some new Techniques

So. I got my LEVELS!!! OMG!!! they came in yesterday! YAY. Had a fun day with aletia at the mall-yesterday was just PERFECT. Rides, a movie, food, new shoes and the pat parelli book I've been drooling over for a while, its just been great. :) Today was a little more relaxing. Again, Aletia came over-hehehe its a best buddy MARATHON! I declare tomorrow couch potato day. I DECLARE IT. And so it shall be. hehehehehe. anyways, back to today. Wow, my mind's buzzing around. Okay, TODAY. Picked up aletia, went to tractor supply. Got a cheap 25 ft knock off line for about $20, and a wormer for $5. They were unloading hay or whatever, and the machine just about scared the socks off of Chase. He bolted a couple of times, and the power position that the new level one showed REALLY helped. Suddenly I wasn't being thrown around by Chase's strength-I actually had leverage to control his nose. I also tried out some body blocks when Frankie kept trying to reach around me to play with Chase. I need to practice my peripheral vision. Backed him up to get him thinking, when I felt him tensing and getting ready to bolt, I disengaged his hindquarters thoroughly. Soon he was licking and chewing and breathing slower, calming down. He went RB quite a few times-every time it got closer, ect. Didn't manage to get him completely calm consistantly until it went away. And then, he went LEFT BRAINED on adrenaline. Head tossing, kicking, tail swishing snottiness. LOL!! It was fun for a bit, and we felt compelled to let him offline to go express himself. ROFL. He tired quickly. Though while he was expressing himself, he ran into the TARP. Not only did he paw it insistantly, he now laid on it and thoroughly tangled himself up in it! I WISH I had taken my camera into the arena, it was SO adorable to see him rolled up in a colt burrito looking out with those big brown eyes. LOL He's so cute! Umm...we were cold and tired after that, so we didn't really do much else. Night! I'm done typing! Hehe!
