Oh Warm Days, How I've Missed Thee

First off, today was absolutely wonderful. The weather was warm, the sun was shining and the sky was blue, and it was possible to go outside without gloves, a hat, AND a coat. HAHA bye-bye winter bite! Man I'm looking forward to green and great! The weather itself put me into a carefree, freedom-loving mood. :D

The day only got better. Picked up Sarah for the first time in a LOONG time, and we hung out, to find out our friendship hasn't changed a bit. No awkwardness at all-we talked and talked, and when we couldn't talk anymore, we just randomly pointed out observations or made up games. Yep. Life is good. :)

Checked out a possible summer barn (triple S). It's about ten minutes from home, and lovely. The only problem is that Chase would be kept in for part of the day-and he doesn't particularly enjoy stalls. I'd rather not have him start cribbing or something. So that's a last resort thing. Other than that, it was a rather nice place, with the exception of a lack of toys-which is easy to fix. :) My other two options are RM and Sunnyside.

Mmmk-so next thing on my list-as I said, today was beautiful. Sarah, Chase and I had a BEAUTIFUL, enjoyable 1-2 mile walk (not sure how far, we kinda just went with it). He could handle slow cars coming up behind him, but not faster cars. Though he calmed down once they passed. He panicked once on the way back-other than that, he had only been a bit tense. When the tension became too high, I usually stopped and played a little yoyo or scratched him vigorously.

When we got back, we were all pretty tired. Put Chase in his stall with a flake of hay, whereupon he immediately peed and moved his hay over the pee spot. *rolls eyes* Groomed him again, and the two people boarding Frankie came into the barn. A mother and a daughter. They're really nice, btw. Not natural, but nice.

Funny how a little thing like a little weather change can get you intensely motivated. I have a million different things I want to try now. I want to play friendly game with the plastic bag on the ground. I want to play friendly game with the plastic bag on his back. I'd love to play with his friendly game in zone five to get him more confident in those areas. I'd really love to play with fluidity. Well, that's all for now!
