Time to Start Getting Into Shape Again!

Went on a trail ride today, and realized just how out of shape both me and Chase are.  We went at a walk for two and half miles, and by the time we got back, Chase had worked up a sweat and I was much more sore than I'm used to being after a trail.  Went and weighed myself the other day and realized I was a full ten pounds over my 'in shape' weight.  Usually I teeter between one hundred and thirty and one hundred thirty five pounds.  When I have time to run regularly, and get my endurance going, I'm usually about a hundred twenty five, and it hasn't really gotten any lighter than that.
I now weigh a hundred forty.  Partially, it is my fault-I could have changed my diet, rather than eat the same kind of food I allow myself to eat while I'm able to exercise.  But, on the other hand, a big part of it was un-aviodable because of my recent trouble with my asthma.
But, happy times.  I'm back on my way to being able to exercise and run as much as I'd like to again.  Finally got my allergy testing done the other day, and discovered that I'm pretty much severely allergic to everything.   I was tested for fifty different substances, and requested horse, and broke out in huge hives to all but five, horse, unfortunately, being one of the biggest reactions.  Ragwood being another.  No wonder I've been having so much trouble these past few months!
I've decided to go ahead with the allergy shots.  With as many allergies as I have and the way my asthma ties into it, it's overall the better decision, in my opinion.  The allergy shots have risks involved, but are supposed to cause me to be less allergic.  The alternative would be staying on my many allergy medications, and regular spurts of prednazone (sp?) whenever my asthma gets out of control.  And not really being able to run, and having to be careful in the cold, ect.  Along with regular albuteral nebulizer treatments.  And even with all that, I've still had dangerous attacks where the neb hasn't helped as much as it should.
Overall, the risks of not taking the shots, are bigger than taking the shots, even if I do hate the idea of getting three shots a week for quite a while.  I'll be on a four year allergy shot plan, and it'll start to taper off in six months where I'll be able to go a couple weeks or a month at a time without them.  Wish me luck, guys!  I can't WAIT to be able to MOVE and run and ride regularly and asthma-free again!
